Panama is a small country located between Costa Rica and Colombia. Its beaches are bathed both by the Pacific Ocean (to the west) and the Caribbean Sea (to the east). It is, therefore, an important tourist destination. Although the development of its tourism is outstanding, Panama is mainly and internationally known for having the pathway that cuts across the American Continent from east to west: the Panama Canal.
Due to its tropical climate, without much variation between seasons, Panama is a paradise for tourists that seek refuge during winter months, and for those who fancy beautiful beaches washed by warm waters.
